My mission is to help Black, Indigenous, Latinx and all people of color heal, survive, and thrive.

Racism causes mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, and it’s been linked to higher rates of heart disease and high blood pressure in African-Americans. I leverage a two pronged approach to help our communities thrive despite these challenges. First, I empower people of color with tools to calm the nervous system, lower blood pressure, and prioritize self-care regardless of how we are treated.

Second, I believe that people are less likely to commit acts of racism if they have addressed their own issues and insecurities. With a regular practice of stress management, it is my hope that a feeling of inner peace will inspire the treatment of all people with dignity and respect, both in the workplace and in life!

Leading brands are supporting the well-being of their workforces and driving employee engagement with the Breathwork@Work™ and Black@Work™ programs. When we feel our best, we can perform at our best! Join me on this critical journey. Together let’s heal, survive, and thrive!

Breathwork | Resilience | Self-Care

Zee Clarke, author of Black People Breathe, is a Harvard MBA that went from leading teams at Fortune 500 companies and startups in Silicon Valley to teaching mindfulness and breathwork. Why?

After experiencing a number of race related challenges, from racial profiling and harassment by the police to microaggressions in the workplace, she realized that mindfulness and breathwork were much more powerful outside of the yoga studio and in the context of our everyday lives.

Trained in India, Zee leverages her toolkit of breathwork, meditation, yoga, sound healing, and Reiki, to ensure that all people, especially people of color, have the stress management and resilience tools to thrive despite any challenges that might arise at work and in life.
